vmware_dvs_host - Add or remove a host from distributed virtual switch

New in version 2.0.

Synopsis

  • Add or remove a host from distributed virtual switch

Requirements (on host that executes module)

  • python >= 2.7
  • PyVmomi

Options

The hostname or IP address of the vSphere vCenter.

The password of the vSphere vCenter.

The name of the Distributed vSwitch

The username of the vSphere vCenter.

Allows connection when SSL certificates are not valid. Set to false when certificates are not trusted.
vmnics

The ESXi hosts vmnics to use with the Distributed vSwitch
