SIMD.anyTrue

SIMD.js has been taken out of active development in TC39 and removed from Stage 3. It is not being pursued by web browsers for implementation anymore. SIMD operations exposed to the web are under active development within WebAssembly, with operations based on the SIMD.js operations.

The static SIMD.%BooleanType%.anyTrue() method returns a Boolean indicating whether or not any of the lanes hold a true value.

Syntax

SIMD.Bool8x16.anyTrue(value)
SIMD.Bool16x8.anyTrue(value)
SIMD.Bool32x4.anyTrue(value)
SIMD.Bool64x2.anyTrue(value)

Parameters

value
The value to check whether its lanes holds any true values.

Return value

A Boolean. Returns true if any of the lanes holds a true value, false otherwise.

Examples

var a = SIMD.Bool32x4(false, false, false, false);
var b = SIMD.Bool32x4(false, false, true, false);

SIMD.Bool32x4.anyTrue(a); // false
